MURTAGH (early 1800's)
It was in 1820's William MURTAGH married Mary STANLEY.
Mary STANLEY and William MURTAGH had the following children that I am aware of: CHART

HARRINGTON (early 1800's)

The only record at present of Michael HARRINGTON is on the marriage certificate in 1874 and he is named as father of John Harrington. He was living in 1874 but there is no reference to him in Guys Directory 1893.
According to information available to me at the moment, Michael HARRINGTON and his wife had the following child that I am aware of: CHART

BRADLEY (early 1800's)
Patrick BRADLEY married Catherine [UNKNOWN]. His stated occupation was a Butler according to Glasnevin burial records for his wife. No record of his burial can be found in Glasnevin Cenetery.

Catherine [UNKNOWN] was born in 1814. She died on Sunday, 5 July 1885 in 4 Upper Bridge Street, Dublin aged 71 years. She was buried in Glasnevin Cemetery, Dublin (South Section - KA51). Glasnevin burial records show that an Andrew Cullenan, died 16 February 1870 aged 75 years from Farmerly, Dundrum, County Dublin was already buried in the grave and that subsequently, three other people were buried in that grave: Christopher O'Connor, died 6 July 1897 aged 1 years from 16 Temple Street Hardwicks Hospital, Dublin, Eliza Shiels, died 30 January 1898 aged 56 years from 19 Michael's Hill, Dublin and Mary Walsh, dies 23 October 1915 aged 52 years from 9 Forbes Cottages, Marrowbone Lane, Dublin.

BYRNE (early 1800's)
John BYRNE was born in1811.  He married Margaret BEGLEY on Sunday, 24 August 1851 in Palmerstown Church, Co Dublin (Book 6A, Page 18). The witnesses were Nicholas Reynold and Mary Lenighan. John was a Gardener in Dunamore House (now Stewards Hospital). He died on Tuesday, 24 September 1889 in Lucan. Information recorded by his great grandson, James Byrne (1901-1970) cites his great grandfather as being buried in St Mary's Church Grounds, Lucan, Co. Dublin with 3 month old Henry Mary Byrne who died in 1879. In 1889 the St Mary's Church was extended and part of the extention covered the graveyard. 


Margaret BEGLEY was born in 1838 in Palmerstown, Co Dublin. According to the 1901 census (31 March), Margaret Byrne was 60 years of age, was a widow, head of the house and living in 48 Laraghcon, Lucan, Co. Dublin, a 2nd class private dwelling with her two daughters, Ellen (40) and Mary (36).  According to the 1911 census (2 April), Margaret, a widow is residing at 92 Laraghcon, Lucan, Co. Dublin and her stated age was 86 years. Also residing in the house were her two daughters Ellen (58) and Mary (52), her niece, Mary Ellen Byrne (29) and three boarders - Mary Best (12), Annie Murphy (8) and Dan Harrington (25). The census also records that there were 3 children born to her and John Byrne of which the 3 were still living. Margaret Byrne died on Saturday, 9 December 1911 (Vol. 2, page 277, Oct-Dec, Celbridge) in Lucan aged 73 years. She was buried in Esker Cemetery, Lucan, Co. Dublin. The metal cross on the grave was made by her grandson, Henry Byrne (1883-1957). There is no name plate on the cross.
John BYRNE and Margaret Begley had the following children: CHART

TAAFFE (early 1800's)
Nicholas TAAFFE was born in 1786.  He married Mary MEIGHAN on Monday, 20 June 1831 in Piercetown, Co. Meath (parish of Bohermeen). There is no record of the witnesses.  He died on Saturday, 4 March 1871 (Vol. 2, page 754, Kells) and was a widower. He was buried in Cortown Cemetery, Co. Meath.
